  1. Jane,
How interesting! How did you set up your blog? I think it looks like fun. Let me know how to go about setting up one. Bonnie

  2. Hey Aunt Jane,
Well you will be happy to know that you are responsible for me being on google now, before, as far as I know, I did not exist on the internet. I hope that Uncle Stan and yourself are okay after the storms down there. I enjoy reading your stories and humor. Take care….

    God bless,

    Jaimie

  3. Jane,

Just came across your blog via my site stat report. I wanted to say thank you for putting me on your “Checks and Balances” blog roll. You have a great site! Love the home page pic at the top, incredible shot. Well, come on by my blog and post a comment or two!

    Yours In Christ-

  4. Hi Jane,

Thanks for stopping by over at Around the block. I left you a reply there. I’d be delighted if you added me to your blogroll 🙂

If we dig hard enough, who know…we could be “kin”. I wrote a blog I posted on my “A Steel Magnolia is an Iron Butterfly” blog (htp://bamasteelmagnolia.wordpress.com) that you might enjoy. It deals with family (as do a lot of my blogs there, too) This particular blog was called No Place Like Home…In More Ways Than One and dealt with the mountains of East TN and Western NC. (http://bamasteelmagnolia.wordpress.com/2008/11/30/no-place-like-homein-more-ways-than-one-by-beverly-hicks-burch/) I think you’d enjoy it, too.

I love your Media and News Cops picks! And this old world certainly needs to know more about Bible prophecy!

Enjoy this warmer “winter” weather while you can 🙂

    Bev

  5. Jane,

I am sincerely hoping you see this message, even though it has been years since you wrote. I am working on some family history and I stumbled upon your blog. It recounts members of my family (George Wesley Brock and Mary Angelina Haver). I am looking for more information on Mary’s parents and I believe in your post you mentioned it had their names on her marriage certificate. I would LOVE to get ahold of those names at all possible. I have her father’s name (Simon Haver) and have her mother’s first name, but no other information. Anything you could give would be greatly appreciated. I hope to hear from you soon.

    All my best,
    Jenni Guynn
